  • Infants: 7 children to 2 teachers

Toddlers: 4 kids to 1 teacher

2.9 years and older: 10 kids to 1 teacher.

  • We redirect a child 2 times and is they are still upset or unable to settle down, they are asked to sit in a chair for a few minutes. If the child is still not able to rejoin the group, they are then asked to go to the Director's office so as not to distract the rest of the children in the class.

  • With the new facility we have state-of-the-art security. MCC uses a code system to allow parents or families access to the building. After each school year the code will be changed to ensure only current families and staff have access. The three main doors are equipped with security cameras which are monitored at two locations within the building so we are able to see who is at the door at all times.

  • We are not a peanut free school but are able to provide peanut-free classes/tables. We ask in the case of peanut free classes that all lunches containing peanut substitutes (sun butter, almond butter, etc.) are labeled.

  • We do! Our PreK classes attend a presentation from the Audubon Society once a month for a nature presentation with Miss Jessica. Our Nursery classes have Miss Elaine Kessler come once a month to do a Music and Movement program. Alongside this a company called Technology Pals comes in a two days a week to do a computer class with the children who chose to sign up for a nominal fee. For special events such as Fire Prevention week, we may bring in a Firefighter to educate the children on fire safety, or during Dental Hygiene week a dentist may come in to talk about the importance of dental health. Parents with special vocational knowledge are always welcome to come and share!
